Sullivan Central cruised past Virginia High by a score of 8-3 in a
non-district game. VHS committed four errors on the scoreboard but added
mental errors that didn't show up in the final tally. The Bearcats put
up six hits including a leadoff triple in the first inning by Brandon
Arnold who scored on Kalan Mabe's double. Casey Stallard also had a
double in the sixth. Starting pitcher Dylan Sullins gave up four earned
runs before being relieved in the sixth. Virginia High has little time
to recover with rival Tennessee High traveling to the Bearcats on
Thursday night.
