High bounced back with a 17-1 win over Van, WV in the Mingo Bay Classic
at Myrtle Beach, SC. The Bearcats banged out thirteen hits in the win.
Kalan Mabe pitched three innings and collected six strikeouts. Mabe gave
up two hits before giving way to reliever Josh Paolucci. Mabe also
contributed a double at the plate. Josh Murray added a two RBI double in
the first inning while Brandon Arnold and Casey Stallard each had two
hits. Stallard also had two RBI's. Anthony McCoy came off the bench with
two hits and an RBI for the night. The Bearcats pulled their defense
together and played error free baseball after committing six errors the
previous night. VHS will take on Tri-Valley out of New York on Wednesday
in the final game of pool play in the Mingo Bay Classic in Myrtle Beach,
SC.
