Virginia High began the 2010 season with a 11-1 non-district win over
Daniel Boone. The Bearcats banged out 15 hits in the five inning game.
Anthony McCoy accounted for five RBI's with two hits including a
homerun. Josh Arnold was three for four with 2 RBI's while Dakota
Katelouzos, Max Morris and Dylan Sullins each had a pair of hits.
Sullins worked three innings on the mound giving up three hits and
Jarred Tate closed out the final two innings with four strikeouts and
only one hit. The Bearcat defense contributed an error free night in the
field. VHS will take a 1-0 record to Charleston, SC to participate in
the H.I.T. Classic held beginning April 5th.
