Virginia High evened up their win-loss record with a 5-2 win over Clinch
Mountain District rival Lebanon. The Bearcats are now 5-5 overall and
move to 2-0 in district play. Jarred Tate earned the win with six
innings on the mound giving up two hits and a run. Dylan Sullins pitched
the final inning with a pair of base on balls and a fielding error to
score a run and put the tying run at bat. Seth Davis belted a two run
homerun in the fourth and Dakota Katelouzos, Josh Arnold and Brandon
Nave each had two hits. Virginia High ended up with eleven hits but also
left eleven runners stranded on base.
