Abingdon's Falcons flew right past Virginia High taking an easy 14-4 win
over the Bearcats. Abingdon pounced on Virginia High for seven runs off
eight hits in the first inning. The Bearcats aided the Falcons by
tossing the ball around a few times in the first inning. Abingdon banged
out fourteen hits off three different Bearcat pitchers and scored in
each of their five innings at the plate. Offensively the Bearcats put
together seven hits of their own with Clint Chafin leading the way with
a two for three night. Cody Read and Brandon Nave each added doubles.
