Virginia High took a tough 10-9 loss in the bottom of the seventh
against ranked St. Edward of Ohio in the H.I.T. held in Cjarleston, SC.
The Bearcats fought to tie the score in the top of the seventh against
the nation's 24th ranked team but the St. Edward team pushed the winning
run across the plate in the bottom half with two outs. VHS used four
pitchers in the loss. Dylan Sullins started the game and worked three
innings. Josh Paolucci, Hunter McCall and Tyler Arnett finished out the
game. VHS had nine hits for the night including Clint Chafin's three run
homerun, Seth Davis' two run homerun and Dakota Katelouzos' solo
homerun. Katelouzos also added a double. St. Edward banged out three
homeruns.
