Dylan Sullins pitched five innings of no hit baseball before giving up a
pair of hits in the sixth to earn a win for the Bearcats over Lebanon in
the Clinch Mountain District Tournament. Virginia High claimed a 6-3 win
over the Pioneers and will advance to the finals on Saturday night
against Gate City. At the plate, Anthony McCoy returned to the Bearcat
lineup with a three for three night finishing up with a triple, two
singles, an RBI and scoring twice. Clint Chafin knocked a two RBI triple
in the third inning to put the Bearcats on top to stay.
