VHS claimed a 6-3 win over Marist of Chicago, IL in the H.I.T. held in
Charleston, SC. The Bearcats banged out fourteen hits in the victory.
Anthony  McCoy was four
for four at the plate including a two RBI double. Tyler Arnett relieved
starting pitcher Jarred Tate in the third inning and earned the win on
the mound. Arnett threw four and two thirds innings and gave up no hits.
Dakota Katelouzos, Josh Arnold, and Seth Davis each had two hits at the
plate. Arnold also had two RBI's. Virginia High will continue play on Wednesday against
Stratford, SC. The Bearcats are now 1-1 in the H.I.T. and are now 2-1
overall.
