VHS let Richland Northeast of Columbia, SC slip by with a 6-5 game in
the H.I.T. held in Charleston, SC. The Bearcats banged out twelve hits
however five errors in the field and several base running mistakes cost
the Virginia High team dearly. Dylan Sullins had a three for three day
at the plate and Dakota Katelouzos had a double and a single. Starting
pitcher Sullins was relieved in the fifth inning by Jarred Tate and
Tyler Arnett took over in the seventh. Arnett issued a bases loaded base
on balls to end the game. Virginia High finished out the H.I.T. with one
win and three losses.
