Daniel Boone turned the tables on the Bearcats banging out fourteen hits
to take a 9-4 win over the Bearcats. Virginia High had fifteen hits in
their first meeting at Daniel Boone but the scene flip-flopped as the
Bearcats struggled to gain any momentum. Daniel Boone scored in each
inning except the final inning to hand the Virginia High team their
fourth consecutive loss to give the Bearcats a 2-5 record. Josh Paolucci
absorbed the loss on the mound with two and a third innings. The
Bearcats also committed three errors in the field to add to the misery.
Virginia High must attempt to regroup and end their losing streak when
they open District play against John Battle next Tuesday.
